Cable Rights

If, in addition to the traditional transmission of the signal, a radio or TV station also uses the cable to bring its programmes to the viewer, a fee must be paid to the music producers for this form of distribution. SIMIM collects this fee directly.

As from 1/07/2019, a distinction will be made between transmission by cable and transmissions by direct injection. SIMIM is currently working on a direct injection rate.
